Grenadian-American filmmaker and entrepreneur Meschida Philip is carving out a name for herself in the Caribbean Cinema Industry.  Based in New York,  her work focuses on documenting experiences that are unique within the Caribbean culture and communities throughout the global Diaspora. Meschida is the founder and Festival Director of the 12ºN 61ºW Grenadian Film Festival, on the tri-island state of Grenada, Carriacou, and Petite Martinique.

Dominique is a filmmaker and journalist with a focus on reproductive justice issues. Canary was borne of her own experiences and the hyperfocus of current reproductive justice conversations on abortion and birth control issues that left behind mothers of color who face unique and dire challenges. Dominique is a first-generation American and holds a BFA in Film, Cinema, and Video Studies from CUNY.

Eva is co-founder and Artistic Director of LA LUPA Italian Cultural Arts Festival, co-founder and Artistic Director of Angry Bubble Productions, and a proud member of The Actor’s Studio Directors Unit. Her work centers around issues of gender-based violence including domestic abuse and sexual assault. She conceived and directed Angry Jellow Bubbles, which was exclusively chosen to be performed at the United Nations for International Women’s Day. Minemar's film directing debut, Hush, was an official selection at the San Diego Film Festival.

Lola Isabel Gonzalez is an independent filmmaker and producer committed to social impact. Born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, her background in community organizing has shaped her passion for pursuing action through bold storytelling while building radical practices of ethical filmmaking. For the last decade, her documentaries have created bridges between community and policymakers, resulting in legislative changes that center the health and livelihood of the most marginalized individuals, their families and communities.

Harper Yi is a business storyteller for the storytelling business. Her specialty is in marketing and generating financial support for great stories and marginalized creatives. In the past Harper has worked for Disney and developed campaigns for brands including Universal Pictures, FROZEN on Broadway, Wowwee, GUESS, and Warner Brothers. Harper is a graduate of The College of William & Mary where she studied Psychology and Marketing. She is a member of Women in Film and Video (DC) and the Broadway Women's Alliance.

Rachel is a Brooklyn-based artist specializing in cinematography, directing and photography. She specializes in humanitarian documentary work and has shot in over 10 different countries. Klein has shot celebrities such as Jessica Chastain, Heather Graham, Mira Nair and Julie Dash for the TIFF selected feature documentary “This Changes Everything” and received recognition for several award-winning short narrative films. Rachel is a selected member of the female cinematographer’s collective CinematograpHERSXX and represented as a director by the production company SLMBR PRTY.
